Quick start

Three steps take you from nothing to real data.

1. Get a key

Make an account at https://icehockeyapi.com/login with your Google account. The free key appears on the next page: 50 calls a day, no card. It is shown once, so copy it. It is also filled in on every page of these docs in that browser.

2. Make the first call

Yesterday's results in every league, with no parameters:

3. Read the answer

Every answer is JSON with two parts: data, the records, and meta, about the answer: how many came back, the page you are on, the next cursor, and your plan.
